Welcome to my homepage!  

I am currently Associate Professor at the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), an international PhD school and a center of advances studies in Applied Mathematics, Astroparticle Physics, Computer Science, and Regional Science located in L'Aquila, Italy.  

I am the Principal Investigator for the PRIN 2022: "Emergence of condensation-like phenomena in interacting particle systems: kinetic and lattice models." 

I am part of the research group "Mathematical Physics and Probability" at UnivAq and of the research group Stochastic Modelling in L'Aquila (SMAQ) and, since 2021, I have been part of the scientific and organizing committee for the GSSI-Univaq joint seminars in Probability and Mathematical Physics (SMAQ Seminars). 

Previously, I have beeen Ricercatore di tipo B (tenure-track associate professor) at Department of Information Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics (DISIM) at Università degli Studi dell'Aquila (UnivAq) and, before, Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Applied Mathematics (University of Bonn), investigator of the Research Area C1 at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics , and member of the Collaborative Research Centre 1060  "The Mathematics of Emergent Effects"  based at University of Bonn.

Opening postdoc position 

A one-year postdoc position (with the possibility of extension) funded by the project PRIN (here) has just opened at the Research unit "University of L'Aquila" with application deadline February 10, 2024.

Important information: for non italian citizen when submitting the application the form asks for the residency permit, this is clearly not needed to apply, it is enough to upload a valid ID document!
